Events

We have plans for events throughout the year. Watch for emails from us and attend our next meeting for updates!

Constitutional Principles vs. Partisan Politics
What can the Founding Fathers teach us about maintaining our principles in a partisan world?

Dr. Richard Brake,Ph.D., of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute comes to West Chester University to answer that very question. Sponsored by the WCU College Republicans, this free event is part of our Tea Party Education Outreach Program. Past events with the students at WCU have proved a great opportunity for sharing our viewpoints and vision with the younger generations. Please join us to continue our networking and to hear a wonderfully informative presentation.

Tuesday, February 28th - 7:15 PM

Our Veterans' Day  event featuring Sam Rohrer was another terrific night with The West Chester Tea Party. Thank you to all who attended.

"I Pledge Allegiance" Rally
CCLA hosted this Rally on Sunday, June 12.  Many people turned out for an early flag day celebration, which included a message of "If not me, then who", delivered by Ryan Manion of the Travis Manion Foundation, and a history of the flag by Michael Rapp of Brandywine Flags

Second Annual Rally for Liberty and Responsibility.
To those patriots who "braved the storm" on April 16 to attend our West Chester Rally, thank you! Considering that our sound system had to be canceled due to the extreme conditions on the West Chester Courthouse steps, your commitment to the Tea Party cause and to our country is remarkable.

On April 21, Holy Thursday, a Christian day of service, West Chester Tea Party joined in solidarity with other 9-12 and tea party groups across the country to demonstrate that we are a force for good. West Chester Tea Party donated the items from those who showed up for the rally, 157 lbs of it, to the West Chester Food Cupboard. Also, members of the WCTP and Chesco Patriots donated groceries to a local family in need. Charity begins at home.

Pictures coming soon.

The Citizen Education event with guest speaker Matt Brouillette, President & CEO of the Commonwealth Foundation was very successful. Thank you to everyone who took part and a special thanks for Bible Baptist Church for the use of their facilities. Please stay tuned right here for more similar events.

Celebrate Our Freedoms dinner was a terrific event.  We shared an early Thanksgiving meal with our Tea Party family, while thanking our veterans and honored the document from which we derive our freedoms -- the Constitution.  Thank you to all who participated.
